Raid-1 woes

Hello,
 I got kernel 2.4.5 (after 2.4.3 did evil things, 2.4.4 failed to
compile..) and tried to get my raid array to work.
But it didn't.

mkfs worked ok, but when I tried to mount the partition, mount
segfaulted and the log file had this:

So, I think something dies in raid1_read_balance, whatever that is.

Any ideas?
