And, finally ... I should qualify this by saying that it's not
actually their patches that work, but rather their separate ldconfig
package - specifically, applying the patch in #49279 won't help - see
my follow-up to that bug number.

So the best course of action for potato would probably be to apply the
patch I sent, as it's simple and it works, even if it's not quite
correct for user space (it should use ElfW() instead of wrapping
Elf{32,64}_Dyn in its own way)

I'll stop answering my own mails now :-)
