I have 2.2.5 running with a 4 disks raid 0, but I had major problems
when using an ide raid in parallel (it allways crashes after a short
time with heavy useage), but that could be problems with the ide
module beeing recompiled with a different gcc.
Falk Hueffner is using 2.2.13 with two scsi raids without any
problems.
So you should be able to use software raid with a stock 2.2.13.
May the Source be with you.
