Well, yes and no. I've been testing glibc 2.1 and had to recompile
ncurses, so it's an unfair comparison. HOWEVER, my noname is working well
and it's up to date as above. I also am testing everything on a.d.nl with
no problems.

Ah, ok. That may explain it. I run headless and it'll be nearly
impossible to reproduce. Maybe I'll hook up a monitor to mine this week.
