Only one comment: if you put libffm in /etc/ld.so.preload or
LD_PRELOAD, remember where the library is. If isn't in / it's
dangerous umountintg filesystems... or maybe at boot time you will
have problems...
To be safe, put it in /lib

I had problems in the past with other LD_PRELOADed library, and it
wasn't funny.
