2.2.0-final will NOT boot!

Hi all,

I'm starting to think I must be doing something wrong.

I have fetched and built 2.2.0-final (none of Alan's patches).

I have tried booting this with MILO 2.0.35-0.3/42 (The one from the
bootfloppies) and MILO 2.0.35-c5.1 (from genie.ucd.ie). The kernel will
silently hang on boot and (usually) come back into MILO after about
20 seconds.

The stock debian 2.0.35 boots OK, the only 2.2.x version I can boot (which
I am using now) is 2.2.0-pre7-ac4.

I am CC:ing this to Alan, either I'm making a stupid mistake or something
is seriously stuffed.

Oh and 'make rawboot' still doesn't compile.

Martin
