(a)boot problems...



Hi...

Well, I checked the Digital website, and there was a new version
(5.2) of the firmware for my box (AlphaServer 1000A 5/333,
noritake/primo). But... I've upgraded it, and now I'm unable to
boot from the serial console! I get the following...

And booting from the console (vga+keyboard) it boots! (but fails to
reboot, like before) I don't undersntand why, but it seems a
SRM/firmware problem. I'll try emailing somebody at DEC and the
linux-axp list; anyway I'd appreciate any ideas...
