FYI:
It was in the xpcd package.  It didn't work with the non-haifa enabled
version from beezer either. I simply hardcoded a -O1 in the Makefile in
that one directory where it failed (./test), and it built.  xpcd has other
problems as well, however (wierdness with the location of X libraries
and the gimp stuff etc.). I've submitted a bug report.
