Jay Estabrook made some comment in axp-linux about how there was some
connection with the glibc-1.99 that RedHat used.  You might want to contact
him, or look through the axp-list archives.

Nononononono.  I have 0 time right now.  I mean zip, nada, zero.  I'm lucky
to find time to make Seagate Backup Exec work on Linux via iBCS.  Which it
does, by the way, and it's quite cool that it works, and it means Linux
(i386, at least) now fits into our cross-platform backup schedule.
