I guess that's good news :P

Hmmm...I've had unerring results from the de4x5 driver, but then again, I
have the Pretty Much Deathproof UDB (TM) :P Have you tried compiling it
as a module and load it at boot? It's not an answer, but you could
probably get better control over error logging with this. Out of
curiosity, does it give you any idea as to why it's not working properly
on some boots?

Now this is weird. I've got a clean-running syslogd here. Let me know
what version of the sysklogd package you're running and what you think
might be causing the problem and I'll look into it further.

Most likely, the newer versions of both are requiring the new ncurses.
We're working on getting this to master, but I just noticed some problems
with the latest ncurses that I'm trying to track down, so it may be
delayed. Speaking of this, has anyone else noticed problems refreshing
the whole screen on telnets when you use a full-screen-usage programme (ie
ncftp or similar)? I'm beginning to think that there actually isn't a
problem with ncurses, but rather it's a problem between the two versions
of the ncurses libs that I have installed (the old one doesn't play well
with the newer support files). Just curious who else might've noticed
this.

That's oddball. I'll recompile fakeroot in a few minutes and fix that
dependency problem. As for libg++, I've been trying to get the patches
for compilation for awhile now. As soon as I get those, I'll fix that as
well. Sad thing is, I don't know who compiled some of this stuff or how
they did it...

Good :)

Do you think your problems are hardware-related or just a product of our
relative instability of our project right now? Just curious :)
