I didn't have much time for Debian over the past few days, but regarding:

The queue is blocked by some rocthrust test spinning infinitely. This
was somewhat expected, as we've observed this on gfx1030 as well [1, 2].
What was unexpected, though, is that the test doesn't time out. Which is
odd, because tests are executed in a child process, and the parent
checks for timeout.
Looking into this now.
