Just after booting at login in lightdm conigured to diplay the list of users.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I type my password directly, with the default selected user. Orca speaks characters.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Orca should say "asterisk".
