Just out of curiosity, why? The svn one includes the latest features,
and the one in debian isn't an afficial release I don't think.

Wouldn't you switch it like any other app? Why is it related to python,
shouldn't you just have a shortcut on your desktop or something 2 each
version, and choose one to start by default and switch that way?
