No, don't drop them, just change the kernel version. With 2.6.18 the graphic
cards might still work, even though I doubt it. But maybe it encourages some
amiga users to fix those kernel drivers? I know I want my PicassoIV to work
some time, but I don't think I would get to look at it this year...

Why is Penguin in contrib? Isn't it free software? At least it would be good
to have a usable config for Penguin on the CD, I guess the options have
changed a little since sarge.

I still have my doubts about the video option, but the other options seem to
be ok/working/needed. But I need to check with a 2.4.30 kernel, still
setting up my new desktop, no crossbuilt kernels yet.

I think so, at least a previous version of that kernel worked fine on my
Falcon, ie with EtherNEC. Until I managed to destroy my partition table...
in TOS.
