Very good guess, it works. I pick the franch KB definition from another
machine,
restart on the 2.6.10 kernel (I was trying 2.6.13) and the keyboard is
OK.
Most of the keys are perfectly working, even the right and left arrow
are
functional to go left or right, up and down are ok to scroll the shell
history,
only the number key on the right numeric pad are KO.
So it is much simpler to use the "standard" keyboard, Alt+F2 bring you
on
the second tty ... and Alt+F1 bring you back on the first.

I was trying the 2.6.13 kernel and I encounter a "visible" problem :
no screen is visible, only bright vertical lines on the screen as if
the video was not synchronized. The system is ok and telnet works.
I had copied the .config from 2.6.10 and had a look with menuconfig
without any hitch.
Will try one more time and verify all the kernel parameters.

Regards
