Going back though the setup info and double-checking I have discovered the partition Identifiers for the linux system and swap partitions were not set. I set them, hit OK and saved changes, rebooted etc.. and then went back into HDToolbox, and sure enough, the values had returned to 0x0. Is this normal behavior? is there some other partitioning program i can use for this purpose?
