Debian Install Problem

Hi.

I am having a problem installing Debian-68k, ver. 2.1, that you folks might
be able to help me with.

I have an Amiga 1200 with an Apollo 1230 (Wildfire132) acellerator card.
The card has 32 Mb. of RAM, a FPU and MMU. The Amiga has version 3.1 of
the os.

Now the problem. When I try to install Debian 2.1 I get the following error
message and dump:

(whew)

The computer works normally, otherwise. In fact, until this effort, it had
NetBSD installed.

In the linux-68k FAQ on www.linux-68k.org there is a known bug listed called
the TT-FPU bug. It concerns a hardware fix in an Atari 32Mb ram card and
instructs the user to tie pin 11 of a 16L8 PAL to +5vdc. Says it is to
keep the PAL from "tri-stating AS and DS until XBACK has gone low."

The FAQ states that this bug is only relevant if the victim has that Atari
RAM card.

There it is, folks. If you can help me with this, I would appreciate it.

Sincerely:

Robert Craig
