Download an Amiga Kernel from

ftp://ftp.sunsite.auc.dk/pub/os/linux/680x0/v2.0/ (I think)

partition the harddrive

twice the real ram for swap (more if 8 MB, less if 64 MB)
10-30 MB for root
30 MB for tmp and var (or 20 and 20 each)
150- for user
some for home (10-20 MB are probably enough)

Boot the workbench on AGA (or less).

amiboot -v -k vmlinux....gz -r root.bin root=/dev/ramm video=amifb:pal or vga70 or ...

Just follow the installation routine. You will have to partition the
harddrive under linux again, but only change the partition types via
the t commando. Changing partitions might be unsave.
You also need to mount the Amiga partition eigther from the shell
(last menu point) or from the second console. Don't forget -taffs. A
good mountpoint would be /target/mnt/amiga (/target/ will be the root
partition).

Debian is like Suse with yast turned off, just better. :)
