ADB mouse troubles

I am very new to Linux and have just installed it on my Macintosh LC 
(Performa) 630.  I have also installed X but I can't get the ADB mouse to 
work.  I have tried putting /dev/mouse (BusMouse) in my XF86Config file 
but to no avail.  Is there an ADB mouse driver?  The kernel seems to 
detect an ADB mouse while booting.

Also, the screen is all red.  I there some sort of video card patch 
available yet?
