I just want to highlight two benefits of talk slots under 30 minutes:

a) easier for the content team to fit in everybody who contributes to Debian

b) for those rooms the video team can't cover, DSLR video recording is
one option.  Many DSLR cameras that have video capability are crippled
to a maximum 30 minute recording.

Of course, DSLR doesn't capture the content from the projector and it
doesn't enable live streaming and all the other goodies the video team
are capable of but it is an option and it has been used at other events.
