spent a lot of time on this already), it is just not clear from some
of the communications.
The open weekend page[1] still doesn't explicitly declare whether
registrations are (or were) expected for day visitors and the previous
discussion on the list didn't appear conclusive either.
The comment you added about closing the doors also leaves one more
question in my mind: if a lot of people without registration do arrive
early and are admitted for the open weekend and the doors are
subsequently closed, will all those who registered still be able to
enter and come and go as they please?
