I'm not so sure if that fits. But if the proposer is OK, I'm fine too. I
myself would prefer a more intimate setting for the poetry night. My
reservation is just because in my imagination a poetry night is a rather
calm and maybe contemplative event, while the party might be noisy with
a lot of people doing different things.
