What is the perceived advantage in allocating a clever set of names

which describe the relevant blocks of rooms?

Simply because the following description:

"bed with nordique (where this actually means 'duvet') bedding in rooms
	with >= 5 persons
	OR
bed without bedding (where this actually means you have to bring your own
	sleeping bag) in rooms with <= 2 persons"

is quite longer than "Zinc" or "C" + link to verboser description page
including pictures.

Of course it is possible to construct confusingly written long descriptions, and to combine things weirdly across categories, but I would hope we would try to avoid both.

For verbosity, your description above could be reduced to something like "bed in >= 5-person room OR sleeping bag space in <= 2-person room". To be clear, I still agree that we should have a page which gives longer textual explanations and pictures, but I would prefer us to use meaningful labels for whatever the categories are. The suggestion above would easily fit into the web form.

But why does the OR in the above make sense, anyway? Surely some people will want to be certain that they have proper bedding, and don't need to buy a sleeping bag then travel round the world with it, while others will want to be sure that they get a small room?
