I assume, this is the same with SPI. Thats why we need to know the bylaws and everything of diva. And yes, of course ffis can give money to a bakery, if this supports free software. but that would a specific amount of money for a specific amount of bread. And thats what should be written in the contract with diva+debian: that diva will use the money it receives for+from Debian to hold DebConf11, to support free software. cheers, Holger
