I'm potentially open to this argument, but, for clarity, that's not
actually what I meant. I was suggesting having a single sponsor
framework, except for a special fee for Debian Day stands.

While I realise that there are different audiences, I'm worried about
confusing or offending the main DebConf sponsors if we treat Debian
Day sponsorship separately, perhaps unless we charge *more* for Debian
Day than for the equivalent status for the main conference. (In fact
the suggestion from those who wanted separate levels was to charge
less, to help local companies qualify.)

I'm also concerned that we have sufficient work to do in setting up
the main sponsorship scheme, and that having a separate scheme for
Debian Day would double this work. (Indeed, if it's separate, mention
of Debian Day should be removed from the main sponsor pack, and we
should have a separate sponsor pack about Debian Day, etc.)
