While I'm all in favour of letting people avoid pointless registration,
it just occurred to me that this may make some sort of difference on the
boring admin side of things -- for instance, insurance.

I seem to remember that we are not responsible for insurance anyway, but
it is probably worth making sure that whoever is providing the cover is
made aware that this is no longer a private event, as it will be open to
the public on DebianDay.

That has been the reason to ask for people to register in the past, so
that we can claim that we're not letting "the public" in, which
sometimes makes a big difference to the insurance situation.
