Uhm, well, I guess that different people have different expectations.
I think that it's not bad for Debian if some Debian Developers enjoy
having a bit more time together.

What I do think (and it seems everybody agrees on this one) is that we
shouldn't be paying the stay of people that only come to party.

During DebConf there are quite a bunch of talks, and thus it's not
only about socializing, but about communicating what's going on in the
project.  Also you might consider that for those of us that don't live
in Europe, there are very few other possible gatherings we might
attend (i.e. very few attend the Extremadura meetings, and none that I
know of are able to go to the BBQ or events like that).

My point is, DebCamp can be about getting work done for someone AND
about partying for someone else, the important thing (for me) is that
both groups don't bother each other.

Anyway, this looks like something that we should talk about in the
next meeting and decide something about it.  I'm adding it to the
Agenda.
