I asked a similar question earlier and got a good answer from Gabriela, which follows... Now in fact my own flight is now due to land at 22:30 on 11th May, but Debconf is so much fun I don't want to spend any time waiting in Mexico City! I want to get to Debconf as soon as possible, so my question was more of a 'Can I get to Oaxtepec if my flight lands at 22:30' and it seems probably not for me :-( Anyway, for now I have booked flights, but not any accommodation for the night I arrive, in the hope that I won't need it... Answers to interesting questions like "what would be the likely costs for (a) average accommodation near Mexico City Airport and (b) a taxi to Oaxtepec" might tip me one way or the other. And back to quoting Marcela: > > > > 3. Given an answer to the first two questions, is there > > any reason I should not book flights and pay fares now? > > Why not? Go go go get your ticket :) Marcela is right: you should probably have already got your ticket. All the cheap seats will be gone! I guess that depends where you are coming from though.
