They might even do that (as it has happened to me while carrying all the DJ
equipment after a gig) on a friday/saturday night while approaching an
official taxi stand. They smell problems/alcohol/nonwanted customers and they
push the pedal.
Not that has happened many times, but if it happens once while it is -15C and
you have to wait for one hour, you remember forever how the coldness can get
to your bones.
