Hi,
If you want to save some money you can take the "Airport taxi" (they have a
yellow booth in the arrival lobby, http://www.airporttaxi.fi/index_eng.html)
to city center. They are shared taxis which take several people going to
different adresses but drop you off at any desired location in the
Helsinki/Espoo/Vantaa area.
The price is 20 euros for 1-2 people while a normal taxi with night and
airport extras added probably costs around 35 euros. The price to city
center and Otaniemi where Debconf is held should be about equal - the
distance is almost the same although the direction is a bit different.
When traveling with a larger group it's often easier and even cheaper just
to take the normal taxi. In Helsinki the minivans which take up to 8 people
are the same price than normal passenger cars. The fare goes up a little bit
with the number of people but not much.
