Hi.
In case someone likes camping in a real camping area, there's one in
Vuosaari at the east side of Helsinki. The camping area is called
Rastila Camping. You can find more information in English from here:

Trip from Rastila to HUT requires using a subway from Rastila to Kamppi,
and then a local bus from Kamppi to Otaniemi. As Otaniemi is in Espoo
city and Rastila is in Helsinki, you will need to buy a regional ticket
("seutulippu"). I suggest buying a ticket with longer validity, like for
3 or 5 days - single tickets are expensive here.
