This time I try again with wodim and a blank DVD+R DL, but on a different
DVD burner. This time do it on /dev/sr0 instead of /dev/sr1
Use the same disco content as previously successfully burnt with cdrskin.
$ sudo dd if=/dev/sr0 of=/tmp/test.iso
$ script /tmp/typescript -c 'wodim -multi -V -vvv speed=1 dev=/dev/sr0
/tmp/test.iso '
The disco burnt, after reloaded, mounts fine. This is success to me.
Conclusion so far: wodim spoils DVD+R DL (tested using -multi) for some
devices but not all.
The disco burnt:
uliansu@Andalusia:~$ dvd+rw-mediainfo /dev/sr0
