This will make the disk unuable....
I recommend:
readcd f=file.out sectors=0-2146272
insert a new blank DVD media into the writer..
cdrecord -v -sao file.out
This way you get a new medium that will work on the MAC.
BTW: recomment everyone you know not to use wodim if he is interested
in data integrity....
