Yes, pretty please be well aware of the differrence and do *not* blindly add original="german" (it's _not_ "de" as there is no webwml/de/ directory). It's the job of the translator to know from where they translated the file and not one of just fixing the stats. original has to point to the language that it was indeed translated from - and I suggest people to not translate from a language other than from english for hopefully partly obvious reasons: Updateability. If you are able to speak a different language that's fine, you might be able to update the file for now. But in the future you might not have the time to keep updating the file and propably there is noone else in your team that speaks that language, too. The original part for translation-check is mainly there for the english pages where english isn't the original - like within the international directory. Also, like noted on IRC, I don't see much sense to translate the intl/German/rules page at all: It contains translation rules for translating into German. There are many parts unter the international directory that don't have an english file - please take that as hint that a translation of those files isn't really needed or helpful. The stats pages are meant as helpful tool for keeping translations updated. They are *not* meant as a thing to numberchase after. Please rather do proofreading on pages that are more oftenly viewed by your users instead of just aiming for 100% - something that doesn't really help neither yourself nor your users. For yourself it means more pages that might get outdated and need constant care-taking, for your users it would mean that they could read a page in their native language that they most propably wouldn't care about anyway.
