Agreed!  Yes to removing "ignore date".

Indifferent.  I agree that there are some questionable color choices
in the default setup, but it's still at least usable for those of us
who run with light text on a dark background, unlike, say, the
default color scheme in elvis.

Agreed!  Show as much of the message as possible.  99% of the time, I
don't care what any message might be except for the one that I'm
reading at the moment, so why would I want their subject lines
intruding on my screen real estate?
