You're very welcome.

Probably not because programs require certain registry keys to be
present. The safest bet would be to install it into your fake_windows
dir and just copy over any projects you may have already created from
your source windows partition.
If you insist on having it transferred try googling for "wine visio" or
similar and see the applications database at winehq.com it might be
sufficient to export the registry key in HKLM/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/VISIO
or whereever it may be into a file, then copying the visio directory to
the programs dir in your fake_windows path and then importing the file
containing the registry keys via "wine regedit $filename".
Then just try to run visio and if it complains about any missing files
copy them from your native win partition to either the system dir or the
dir that it is running from in your fake_windows path.

| Very very instructive.

| PS I have IE6 running at last ... so now I have a GNOME desktop with KDE
| Konqueror from which I start IE6 ... to make the savages confused :) :)

Glad to hear that, I haven't been so lucky yet =/
And I need it for testing purposes, but I'll just keep on trying,
eventually some twist of fate will come to my rescue =))
