where is the us-ascii charset and how do I get mutt to use it?

I noticed that mutt isn't recognizing the us-ascii charset (I get messages
with a subject like: =?US-ASCII?Q?<actual subject which displays just
fine>?=. I started looking around and saw a reference to RFC 1342 which
describes how non-ascii characters are supposed to be represented. It
seems that mutt isn't recognizing the us-ascii character set.

Does anyone know where I can find the us-ascii characterset on my system
or how to get it if I don't have it? Also, any pointers on getting mutt
to work with it would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Jen
