de eso justamente se trata: su experiencia + tiempo disponible. 
Si no tenés mucho tiempo, y sabés mas de la distro X que de la Y, te
conviene hacer el trabajo con X que adivinar como se hacen las cosas en
Y (aunque en el fondo todos los unix son ligeramente parecidos) Si tenés
tiempo, aprendés Y, después comparás X vs Y pero TU comparación, y
decidís que te conviene mas
