Right.  Someone's working on SSH support for debian-installer/sarge,
but I don't know how long it will take.  Once it's working better, I
intend to integrate it with Cobalt.  In any case, if everything else
fails, there are USB to serial converters which you could use on the
Mac.

Paul's HOWTO is still correct (for his installation files).

It depends on the kernel.  If you copy the kernel to the three files
vmlinux_raq-2800.gz, vmlinux_RAQ.gz and vmlinux.gz you should be
pretty well covered.
