IMCs vCard/vCalendar SDK: unclear license, acceptable as free ?

Greetings !

I'd like to package IMCs vCard/vCalendar library but I'm unsure if the
license complies to Debian.
I think packaging would be worth the effort, as e.g. gnome-pim uses the
library statically linked.

There is no explicit license file, the only things I can find are a
statement on the download page
"IMC distributes a combined SDK for vCard and vCalendar. The SDKs
contain source code that you can freely use in your applications,
but are not supported by the IMC."
and comments in the source files:

Also the web-page states:
"vCard and vCalendar are registered trademarks of the Internet Mail
     Consortium."

More information about vCard/vCalendar:

Source of the SDK:

Trying to convice them to release it as GPL or at least BSD seems
unlikly to me, but I could try to.

But right now, what to do with it ?
Put it to non-free ?

Please CC: answers also direct to my address.

Thanks in advance.
