renouvelée des Nouvelles du projet Debian. Nous avons déplacé une partie des
contenus, introduit de nouvelles rubriques, et en avons basculé certaines
autres sur le blog <a href="https://bits.debian.org/";>Bits from Debian</a>.</p>

<p>Bits from Debian présentera les nouveaux paquets et les entretiens, ainsi
que certains communiqués, et c'est là que nous accueillerons les nouveaux
développeurs Debian.</p>

<p>Nous prévoyons de diffuser plus de brèves sur le compte de notre réseau

<p>Joerg Jaspert <a
href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/08/msg00009.html";>a annoncé</a>
que les architectures qui n'appartiennent pas à la version LTS de Squeeze
Squeeze ont été transférées vers archive.debian.org. Les architectures i386 et
amd64 de Squeeze continuent d'être hébergées sur les miroirs de Debian.</p>

<p>Le comité technique Debian a été sollicité pour prendre une décision sur
les systèmes de menu suite au bogue
<a href="https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=741573";>nº 741573</a>.
Ils <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/09/msg00000.html";>ont annoncé</a>
leur décision de migrer du système de menu de Debian en faveur de la
Spécification d'Entrée de fichier Desktop commune de Freedesktop, et que
les informations de menu des applications ne devaient pas être dupliquées
dans deux formats différents.</p>

<p>Christian Perrier <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/09/msg00008.html";>annonce</a>
le concours traditionnel pour deviner quand les bogues nº 900000 et
nº 1000000 seront rapportés.

Chris Lamb a rapporté le <a
href="https://bugs.debian.org/800000";>bogue nº 800000</a> sur vdr-plugin-prefermenu.</p>

<p>L'équipe en charge du site Internet de Debian a revu et mis à jour les
organisations utilisant Debian de la section du site
<a href="$(HOME)/users">Les utilisateurs de Debian - Organisations</a>.

exposant comment il a débuté à l'age de neuf ans avec des jeux vidéos
électroniques et plus tard, en programmant, il en est venu à apporter sa
contribution personnelle à la communauté en pleine croissance - et une
nouvelle distribution appelée <a href="https://www.debian.org/";>Debian</a>.</p>

<p>Steve McIntyre a envoyé un
<a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2015/09/msg00233.html";>résumé de
la réunion sur les portages pour ARM à la DebConf15</a>.
Il détaille et pose des questions sur armel dans Stretch et la prise en
charge unique par Debian du vieux matériel ARM, des initiatives de noyau et
de distribution croisée d'armhf, et d'arm64, le plus récent portage livré
avec Jessie. Steve partage aussi des informations sur les démons de
constructions et le matériel, les logiciels scientifiques et l'accès au
portage.</p>

<p>Andreas Barth a envoyé un
<a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2015/08/msg00331.html";>compte-rendu
de la réunion sur les architectures 32 bits dans Debian</a>. Son rapport
détaille les architectures 32 bits dans Debian et les discussions sur la
manière pour compiler et lier avec plus de mémoire et les problèmes
particuliers d'i386 comme les nouveaux matériels 32 bits, l'exclusion
d'architectures dans les paquets et powerpc.</p>

<p>Gregor Herrmann a envoyé <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-project/2015/09/msg00008.html";>un compte-rendu
sur la réunion <q>Debian Perl Rolling</q> de DebCamp15</a>. 
La réunion a traité du processus de correction dans git, git-debcherry, et a
engagé des discussions sur des problèmes mineurs dans les scripts, de
nouveaux outils pour importer les modifications, et a travaillé sur
plusieurs paquets individuels. Les participants ont pu aussi trier des bogues,
nettoyer le dépôt et mettre à jour les exemples de pkg-perl-tools. Pendant le
DebCamp et la Debconf, 189 paquets ont été envoyés et 19 bogues clos.</p>

de GCC-5/libstdc++ et fourni une liste des

puis réparé le <a href="https://wiki.debian.org/DakHowTo";>dak</a> qui a 
maintenant son <q>auto-decrufter</q> et le code de génération de versions
corrigés.</p>

<p>Guido Günther a envoyé les
<a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/09/msg00009.html";>Brèves de la 9e rencontre Debian Groupware</a>.
Les participants ont mis à jour plusieurs paquets dont Icedove,
calendar-exchange et Azrafa/Giraffe. L'équipe s'est aussi occupé de problèmes
de sécurité et de licence et a ajouté l'intégration de zarafa-webapp à 
Apache 2.4.

Philipp Kern a posté sur <a href="http://debblog.philkern.de/2015/10/root-on-lvm-on-debian-s390x.html";>son blog</a>
à propos d'une nouvelle version de sysconfig-hardware d'une nouvelle version 
de zipl-installer pour s390x. Les modifications sont passées dans unstable,
rendant possible l'installation de Debian sur s390x avec root sur LVM.
Philipp a aussi envoyé une nouvelle version d'Hercules, un émulateur de
z/Architecture. </p>

<p><b>Ã?tat d'avancement de LTS</b></p>
<p>
<q>Long Term Support</q> pour Squeeze rend compte de 25Â heures de travail
payées avec la contribution de
<a href="http://honk.sigxcpu.org/con/Debian_work_in_August_2015.html";>Guido Günther</a>
qui a corrigé une régression dans pykerberors, et a travaillé avec Craig
Small, qui a mis à jour wordpress, et trié 9 CVE.

<a href="http://blog.alteholz.eu/2015/09/my-debian-activities-in-august-2015/";>Thorsten Alteholz</a>
a préparé un envoi de php5 pour testing et envoyé des mis à jour de sécurité
pour opensaml2, wesnoth-1.8 et xmltooling parmi d'autres. Il a aussi effectué
un travail de <q>guichet</q> en répondant à des questions sur le canal IRC et
en recherchant les CVE prioritaires.

<a href="https://skitterman.wordpress.com/2015/09/06/debian-lts-work-august-2015/";>Scott Kitterman</a>
a publié une correction pour screen et a passé en revue les CVE les objets
qui sont applicables à squeeze-lts.

<p>We hope that you enjoy our first newly revised issue of the DPN. We have shifted 
some of the content around, introduced new sections, and moved some content 
onto the <a href="https://bits.debian.org/";>Bits from Debian</a> blog.</p>

<p>Bits from Debian will showcase new packages and interviews, plus some announcements,
and is where we will welcome new DDs.</p>

<p>We are planning to send more short news items via our social network account.

(or fall back to the non-official mirrors in other social networks).</p>

<p>One of the major changes is the removal of the DSA security advisories from 
the newsletter. Debian's Security Team releases current advisories on a daily

please read them carefully and take the proper measures.</p>

<p>If you need to be kept up to date about security advisories released by the

<p>Joerg Jaspert <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/08/msg00009.html";>announced</a> that Squeeze non-LTS architectures were moved to
archive.debian.org. Squeeze i386 and amd64 continue to be hosted on Debian mirrors.</p>

<p>The Debian Technical Committee was asked to decide on menu systems in regard to 
bug <a href="https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=741573";>#741573</a>.
They have <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/09/msg00000.html";>announced</a>
their decision to migrate away from the Debian
Menu System and towards the common Freedesktop Desktop Entry Specification, and 
that menu information for applications should not be duplicated in two different
formats.</p>

<p>Christian Perrier <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/09/msg00008.html";>announced</a>
the traditional bug guessing contest for when
bugs #900000 and #1000000 will be reported.

Chris Lamb reported <a href="https://bugs.debian.org/800000";>Bug #800000</a> on vdr-plugin-prefermenu.</p>

<p>The Debian Website Team has reviewed and updated organisations using Debian
in the website section <a href="https://www.debian.org/users";>Who's using Debian - Organisations</a>.
Many new and old organisations in the world have explained how they
are deploying Debian in the year 2015. Have a look!

The <q>ian</q> in Debian, Ian Murdock, penned <q><a href="http://ianmurdock.com/post/how-i-came-to-find-linux/";>How I came to find Linux</a></q> sharing how a
from starting as a nine-year-old with computer video games and later programming he came to make
his own contribution to the growing community - and a new distribution called
<a href="https://www.debian.org/";>Debian</a>.</p>

<p>Steve McIntyre posted a <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2015/09/msg00233.html";>summary of the ARM ports BOF at DebConf15</a>. He details
and asks questions about armel in Stretch and Debian's sole support of older
ARM hardware, armhf cross distribution and kernel efforts, and arm64, the most
 recent port shipped with Jessie. Steve also shares information about buildds
 and hardware, scientific software, and porting access. </p>

<p>Andreas Barth posted <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2015/08/msg00331.html";>Minutes from the 32bit architectures in Debian BOF</a>. His
  report details 32-bit architectures in Debian and discussions over how to
  compile and link with more memory, and issues specific to i386 such as new 32-bit
   hardware, excluding architectures on packages, and powerpc.</p>

<p>Gregor Herrmann posted a <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-project/2015/09/msg00008.html";>Report from the Debian Perl Rolling Sprint at DebCamp15</a>. 
The sprint covered workflow patches in git (especially git-debcherry), and held several
discussions on minor issues in scripts, new tooling to import changes, and 
work on several individual packages. They were also able to do bug triaging,
repository cleanup, and update examples of pkg-perl-tools. During DebCamp and 
DebConf, 189 packages were uploaded with 19 bugs closed.</p> 

<p>Niels Thykier <a href="https://nthykier.wordpress.com/2015/09/05/the-gcc-5-transition-is-coming-to-testing-tonight/";>reported</a> on the GCC-5/libstdc++ <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/08/msg00000.html";>transition</a> and provided a list of
<a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2015/09/msg00148.html";>packages that will be affected</a>.

Neils also <a href="https://nthykier.wordpress.com/2015/09/05/i-accidentially-dak/";>fixed</a> then unbroke <a href="https://wiki.debian.org/DakHowTo";>Dak</a> which now has its auto-decrufter and
generate-releases code patched.</p>

<p>Guido Günther posted the <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/09/msg00009.html";>Bits from the 9th Debian Groupware Meeting</a>. The
attendees updated several packages, among them Icedove, calendar-exchange,
and Azrafa/Giraffe. The team also addressed security and licensing issues and 
added integration of zarafa-webapp with Apache 2.4.

Philipp Kern <a href="http://debblog.philkern.de/2015/10/root-on-lvm-on-debian-s390x.html";>blogged</a> about a new version of sysconfig-hardware and a new version 
of zipl-installer for s390x. The changes were moved into unstable and make it 
possible to install Debian on s390x with root on LVM. Philipp also uploaded a 
new version of Hercules, a z/Architecture emulator. </p>

<p><b>LTS status/updates</b></p>
<p>
Long Term Support for Squeeze reported 25 hours of paid support with 
<a href="http://honk.sigxcpu.org/con/Debian_work_in_August_2015.html";>Guido Günther</a> fixing a regression in pykerberors, working with Craig Small, who
updated wordpress, as well as the CVE triaging of 9 CVEs.

<a href="http://blog.alteholz.eu/2015/09/my-debian-activities-in-august-2015/";>Thorsten Alteholz</a> prepared an upload of php5 for testing and uploaded
security updates for opensaml2, wesnoth-1.8, and xmltooling among others. He 
also did frontdesk work answering questions on IRC and researching priority
CVEs.

<a href="https://skitterman.wordpress.com/2015/09/06/debian-lts-work-august-2015/";>Scott Kitterman</a> released a fix for screen and reviewed CVEs for items that were
applicable to squeeze-lts. 
</p>


<p><b>Reproducible Build status/update</b></p>

<p>Reproducible Builds <a href="https://people.debian.org/~lunar/blog/posts/";>weekly reports</a> on package and toolchain fixes in Stretch cycle:</p>
