Hi. I do have one strong concern with experimental which may be ill-founded,
I'm not sure. It seems there are lots of inexperienced users out there
wanting to use KDE3 with debian, and I'm worried we'll have people just
happily adding experimental to their sources.list and silently dragging in
all sorts of *other* experimental packages that they didn't want and don't
realise are experimental.

My understanding is that they'll want to use pinning, but I'm not sure how
much of a meal that will be to explain (having never needed to use it before
myself).

At any rate, if we're going to go with experimental I'd want *very* clear
documentation ready with the announcement (which I presume will be sent to
debian-kde) and the link on kde.org (which I presume someone will want to
post) explaining to users how to get KDE3 from experimental and not bugger up
the rest of their system.

Yes, I know it's experimental, they've been warned, etc etc, but we all know
that nobody reads the warnings and that inevitably we're going to end up
dealing with these problems so I'd rather try and minimise them before they
happen.

Ben.
