I just realized I hadn't been reading debian-kde mailing list in a
while. Oops. ;)

I found Karolina's debs and they seem to have good ideas (and manpages :)
in them that I will be merging into CVS soon.  Thanks Karolina!

I think that I have corrected the -dev dependencies on arts, kdelibs,
kdebase and will be working on the rest as I get time.

I also found out about ccache so it should no longer take me nearly as
long to build kde.

Feel free to reply to this thread regarding any ideas on cleanups, or
anything else related to packaging.

On a personal note I filed for graduation at uni today for May 2003.
