thunderbird non si avvia dopo dist-upgrade

Ciao a tutti,
ho effettuato un dist-upgrade --> testing.
Ora quando eseguo thunderbind, non parte piu' e non da' alcun errore.
Ho provato a visualizzare piu' debug decommentand il set -x nel file
/usr/bin/mozilla-thunderbird, ma l'output non mi dice nulla.
Sapete come risolvere il problema?
