Thanks for the responses.

I've started with the following ITP (#529275), and started informing the
package maintainers, having them in CCs of more messages sent in
response to the ITP, where I track checks of the depending package
sources.

I suppose I'll leave it to the package maintainers for the different
depending apps to check if some of the nusoap copies differ from the
"official" upstream version (some were quite outdated, btw).
