That's simply not true.  Plenty of people contribute to freedesktop.org
outside of Red Hat.  I know a number of Debian developers who do, for
example.

You might notice that Red Hat hosts a lot of *other* mailing lists too:

And I suppose hosting say the BLinux list is all part of another
conspiracy?

It's hard to try to take this seriously, but: what is this supposed
"vested interest"?
