That's certainly true. But this list is called debian-devel and not
hans-reiser-devel. (Otherwise I would say something about
misunderstandable licences etc.)

That's true. I said "conservative" and not "must not". (I just don't
like the attitude by a few writers here that the debian maintainer
needs not to be polite to the upstream maintainer and should completly
ignore his wishes. That the debian maintainer has at the end of the
day to do the best for the users is not the point.)
