Doh!

I am... forgot all the bloody time I red about using the SRM and ARC and milo and aboot to boot an Alpha and assumed that you were saying that GRUB was less portable than LILO.

Now, I am beginning to fear saying anything more in this thread.... but what exactly did you meant by the grub control file? Was it the Priority: important of LILO? Enlighten me, help me get a clue! ;)
