How long? Do you plan to make an update for (in this moment probably)
stable potato?

...not so huge, if we are referring to the XFree source size ;-)

I really *do* understand. But (as far as I know) there's no such
problem with newer versions of this patch (OTOH the xfsft is not
developed on i386 architecture). I'll forward your message to JEC, for
more detailed answer.
