In the library, perhaps not.  OTOH, the library would also be expected
to have copies of the Koran, I Ching, and so on as well.  The school
libraries I've seen that stock any of them are careful to have lots of
diverse texts.

Suppose that, by some mistake, all the teacher workstations were
installed with a copy of the Bible, but no other religious literature.

I don't disagree that a lot of it is ridiculous.  It is, unfortunately,
the reality of the situation.  More ridiculous things have happened.

(Let's take more discussions of religious freedom to private mail, shall
we?  I don't mind talking about it, but some others might.)
